🏰Hospitality and general info

What are the check-in and check-out times at Castello di Baccaresca?

Check-in is available from 2:00 PM, while check-out is required by 11:00 AM. If you have any special requests or anticipate a late evening arrival, please contact our reception in advance to best arrange your welcome.

Does the castle have private parking?

Yes, Castello di Baccaresca offers a large, free private parking lot within the property, located just a few dozen meters from the main entrance. The parking area is reserved exclusively for guests of the rooms, the restaurant, and events.

Is breakfast included in the stay? What kind of products do you offer?

Yes, breakfast is always included in our standard rates. We offer a rich sweet and savory buffet featuring homemade cakes, typical cold cuts and cheeses from the Umbrian region, yogurt, fresh fruit, and express options prepared on a daily basis.

How do guests access to the SPA and outdoor pool?

Our outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by the estate’s pristine nature and offers free, unlimited access to all guests staying at the castle during the summer months. The indoor wellness center and SPA (equipped with Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, sensorial shower, and a relaxation room with a salt wall) is instead accessible by reservation and for an additional fee, to ensure maximum privacy and relaxation.

What are the main activities available at the Castle?

Discovering the estate’s 240 hectares of unspoiled nature, while losing yourself among small lakes and hidden paths, is the main outdoor activity. Upon request and reservation, you can enjoy experiences such as archery, SPA paths, massages, yoga, and other activities outside the estate. Please contact our Reception for further information.

Are pets allowed? If so, is there an extra charge?

Since we are not a dedicated pet hotel, we have chosen to respect the needs of all our guests. We kindly ask you to inform us of the presence of your little friend (no more than one pet per room is allowed, with a weight limit of 15 kg).

Your pets are welcome in all common areas of the Castle, on a leash, EXCEPT for the breakfast room and the swimming pool.

There is an extra charge of €15 per night for sanitation and extra cleaning costs.

What are the opening hours for the breakfast room and the restaurant?

Breakfast service is from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM. The restaurant offers lunch and dinner service every day, by reservation. Lunch is served from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM and dinner from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM. The pizzeria is open for dinner only and is closed on Mondays.

Do you have gluten-free products? Do you offer dishes/menus for celiac, vegan, or vegetarian guests?

Yes, we offer options for all food intolerances and allergies. We kindly ask you to inform us prior to arrival of any dietary requests you may have.

Do you have an in-house catering/restaurant service, or do you work with external caterers?

Castello di Baccaresca boasts an excellent in-house kitchen Team led by a dedicated chef. We offer customized menus based on the Umbrian gastronomic tradition. We directly manage every detail of the banquet, also providing options for celiac, vegetarian, and intolerant guests

Is it possible to rent the entire castle exclusively for a wedding?

Yes, we offer exclusive-use packages for the property. This option allows you to reserve all the historic rooms, halls, gardens, and the castle SPA solely for you and your guests, guaranteeing absolute privacy for the entire duration of the event. Terms and Conditions apply depending on the requested period.

Is it possible to hold an official civil ceremony or a symbolic ceremony directly at the castle?

Castello di Baccaresca features ample indoor and outdoor venues, such as the centuries-old park and panoramic gardens, which are ideal for hosting symbolic wedding ceremonies. As we are not an official town hall sub-site (Casa Comunale), legally binding civil ceremonies can be held at the nearby municipal offices of Fossato di Vico, Sigillo, Gualdo Tadino, and Gubbio: all just a few minutes away.

How many guests can your venue accommodate for a wedding reception or private event?

Thanks to the versatility of our elegant, historic indoor rooms and the vast outdoor areas in the park, we can comfortably host both intimate, private weddings and grand, lavish receptions. We invite you to contact us for a consultation and a customized layout based on your number of guests.


💼 Corporate Events, Meetings and Team Building

What types of corporate events can be organized at Castello di Baccaresca?

The castle is the ideal setting for prestigious corporate events that require privacy, focus, and a unique, high-profile image. We regularly host corporate meetings, board of directors meetings, small conferences, product launches, training courses, and gala dinners.

What technological equipment is available in the Castle’s meeting rooms?

Our historic rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi connection, sound amplification systems, microphones, video projectors, and presentation screens, as well as flip charts. We provide full logistical assistance throughout the duration of your business event. Any extra equipment can be provided through our trusted partners.

Do you offer spaces and activities suitable for Team Building?

Certainly. One square mile of private centuries-old park and surrounding woodland make the property perfect for outdoor team-building activities (orienteering, treasure hunts, archery, yoga and meditation, sensory trails). Inside our rooms, it is also possible to organize indoor activities, such as cooking team-building experiences dedicated to Umbrian cuisine and wines.

Are corporate packages available with a business lunch or overnight stay?

Yes, we create tailored corporate packages both for ‘Day Use’ events (without overnight stays) that include zero-mile coffee breaks and business lunches and for residential meetings with overnight stays in single or double rooms for your Company’s managers and employees.
