Green ring - Lake of Thoughts
The 240-hectare estate of the Castle can be visited along the Green Ring, a route from 4 to 9 kilometers that winds its way through breathtaking views, woods and waterways until you reach the Lake of Thoughts: the favorite place of the mysterious James and perfect for fitness. The beating heart of the farm, committed on several fronts to safeguarding greenery with the use of renewable energy with zero co2 emissions, the estate welcomes various animal species to be admired in their habitat and offers delicious products of its land such as the Black Truffle : protagonist of our most popular dishes.
Middle Ages at the Castle of Baccaresca
From May 27th we successfully inaugurated the "Middle Ages at the Baccaresca Castle" project with the organizational participation of the Medieval Academy. Our accommodation offer has therefore been enriched with numerous events aimed at reviving the lifestyle, culture and customs of the medieval period. The experience of those who will stay in our Castle dating back to the 12th century, as well as that of those who will take part in the initiatives as an external guest, will certainly be surprising! The doors of the Castle of Baccaresca opened again on 17 June with a " Medieval cuisine ”: an experiential workshop between knowledge and know-how lasting about 3 hours which was followed, to the great satisfaction of the participants, by a dinner prepared according to the rhythms of the time and with the methods of preparation and cooking on a high flame. The Castle's aperitif and theme nights
In the splendid living room of the Castle, each time the aperitif is transformed into an opportunity for eno-gastronomic and sensorial discovery. In addition to the usual Dinner with Crime, culinary themed evenings from other regions and countries will be organized, romantic speeding and role-playing games in the refined atmosphere of the Castle Restaurant which becomes the setting for the most fun evenings.
Wine&Oil tasting
A cross between art, culture, geography and history. Here's what awaits you if will you choose a Wine&Oil tasting at the Castle of Baccaresca. It will be possible to taste the wines and oils of our territory, wisely selected from the best local producers, in a combination of aromas and delights served in a fairytale setting.
